- If you could do anything with your life, what would you do?
If I could do anything with my life, I would probably be one of those people that travel around the world and taste different foods for the Food Network. I love to travel and I love food; that’s literally the perfect job for me.
- Who would you say is/are your role model(s)? Why?
My role model is definitely my older brother Jordan. He has been working at his dream job ever since he was 12 years old. He is one of the hardest working people I know and he is working to better himself every single day. Jordan motivates me to keep pushing through school and I know, from watching him, the sky is the limit.
- How was your transition process into Mizzou from high school?
It was a little weird coming from a high school with a total of 250 kids to a campus of this magnitude. I got really involved on campus right away so that I could make the campus feel smaller. As far as the academic aspect, I can give you three huge tips: have a planner; take naps when you need them, even if they are only 10 minutes; and DON’T PROCRASTINATE!
- What is your favorite spot on campus? Why?
My favorite spot on campus would probably be The Gaines Oldham Black Culture Center. I love going to the BCC just because I know I will always see a friendly face. It’s a great place to hang out, study or take a nap!
- If you had a theme song to describe yourself, what would it be and why?
My theme song would be Unbreakable Smile by Tori Kelly! The times where you don’t see me with a smile on my face are VERY rare. I pride myself on always having a positive attitude no matter what may be going on so, if you see me around campus, say hey!
