What excites you the most about being a 2020 Summer Welcome Leader?

Being at Mizzou in general has been the best change in my life. When I am here, I am busy, involved, and thriving in the best environment. I am so excited to be on campus all summer long instead of going home for a regular summer job.

I am also very excited to be the first taste of Mizzou life for the incoming students. I want to get them as excited about school in August as I was. I hope to help them embrace that this is their campus now too!

How was your transition process into Mizzou from community college?

A lot smoother than I thought it would be. I was afraid my classes here would be 100x harder than community college classes. However, it was pretty easy to grasp my schedule of studying and balancing my other activities as well!

Mizzou is a busy campus, so you can be as busy as you choose to be. There is always something to do.
