- If you could do anything with your life, what would you do?
I will become a world-renowned African-American philanthropist and real-estate investor. My mission will be to add value to poverty stricken communities across the globe by creating opportunities for children.
- What is your favorite Mizzou memory?
My favorite moment at Mizzou (other than Summer Welcome) would be the press conference held by Concerned Student 1950. This historic moment has lead to conversations about justice for minorities on college campuses across the U.S. It is essential for all students to feel comfortable and at peace with their surroundings at a place we all call home. Seeing a mixed crowd of students with their fists held high chanting,”It is our duty to fight for our freedom! It is our duty to win! We must love and support each other. We have nothing to lose, but our chains,” spoke volumes to my soul and remains one of the most powerful experiences of my life, and one of my favorite memories here at Mizzou.
- How do you make Mizzou your home?
I make Mizzou my home by building quality relationships with peers around campus, exploring downtown Columbia, and being active in my approach to community and campus involvement activities.
- How was your transition process into Mizzou?
As a transfer student, it was difficult to find my groove in the beginning. However, once I became aware of resources to help with getting acclimated to the new scenery, things began to fall in place
- If you had a theme song to describe yourself, what would it be and why?
Nas- I Know I can | This is a Hip-Hop classic, old-school jam which reminds every kid that they can become anything in life if they work hard and believe in themselves despite their current circumstance. I still believe that I can be what I want to be.
