Who would you say is your role model?

My grandpa is my biggest role model because, while I didn’t know him for very long in my life, the legacy that he left behind gives me a lot to look up to. From the stories I’ve been told about him from family members, he was dedicated and hardworking, with a smile on his face which gave him all the joy he could ever want. Lots of the things he taught my mom have been passed down to me, and whenever I am doing something, I try to imagine how he might go about it.

What would your life’s theme song be?

My life’s theme song would be “Future Looks Good” by One Republic because, for one, One Republic has been my favorite band for years. Probably since middle school. But more importantly, I like to look to the future and what it holds for me. Dwelling on the present, and especially the past, can be so easy for me to do. I like to remind myself of what I can look forward to, whether that be in the next hour, the next day, or in years to come. Also, this is just a song that makes me ready to conquer anything that’s ahead.
