What to Expect
During Summer Welcome, you will be matched with a Summer Welcome leader, your primary host during your one or two days on campus. Your Summer Welcome leader will be a current student who will talk with you about what you can expect at Mizzou and will offer support, guidance and advice from the perspective of a Mizzou student. One of the many activities that awaits you at Summer Welcome is the opportunity to meet with an academic adviser from your intended division and complete your class schedule.

Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing because the one day Summer Welcome session is filled with a lot of fun group activities as well as walking around campus to visit classrooms, dining facilities, and residence halls. We suggest checking our travel page for the local forecast to help you plan, but keep in mind that Missouri weather can change quickly and it is always good to be prepared for all types of weather.
If you are traveling a long distance, on-campus housing is available in an air-conditioned campus residence hall for $25 per night for students and $30 per night for parents/guests.
