What is your favorite Mizzou memory?
My favorite Mizzou Memory was my first midnight barbeque. I had so much fun and really got to meet majority of the kids of my class. This moment marked the start of my journey as a college student and how much fun I would have with the people I’d start and journey with.
What is your favorite spot on campus? Why?
The BCC. The BCC was one of the first places I started going to, to get adjusted and make new friends. At the BCC they call it you “Home Away From Home”, and that’s exactly what it was for me. That is a place that I hold near and dear to my heart and find a sense of comfort and belonging in that place.
What brought you to Mizzou?
What brought me to Mizzou was my Summer Welcome since that was the first time I ever visited BUT, my SW experience was amazing and that day and a half really solidified me making one of the best choices of my life. SW really made me feel like Mizzou was home for me, and I could literally picture myself being a student and getting involved and hopefully becoming a SWL myself and long story short here I am lol.
How was your transition process into Mizzou from high school?
It was a little hard being away from home because I’m so close to my family and everything I was involved in at high school my family was present, so to come to Mizzou have get involved in everything I possibly could I had to adjust to not having my biggest supporters around every time I performed somewhere or received an award. And then on the flipside having to miss out on a couple birthdays or family events was hard because I got used to being around for absolutely everything.
What is your favorite dining hall and why?
Mark Twain. They have bomb breakfast, French toast sticks especially, Pizza which I absolutely love, and French Fries because that is just a major key like you can’t go wrong with that. Furthermore , because it’s very nice and I’ve had some of the best conversations there.
