Director of Recruitment: Jacob Young
Major: Biological Sciences
Hometown: Springfield, MO
Why did you come to Mizzou: I came to Mizzou because it felt like home. The campus has everything a college student could ask for, and the opportunities available at this school are limitless.
What is your favorite part of Mizzou? Mizzou has all of the resources of a large state university, but has a “family-like” feeling to it making it not seem so large.
What other organizations are you a part of? In addition to being the director of recruitment for this program I am also the treasurer for the College of Arts and Science Student government, the philanthropy chairman for Beta Theta Pi, Global Brigades, lead music for Younglife, tutor math-based sciences as the learning center, and am involved in undergraduate research.
What do you love about this program? My favorite part about this program is watching mentors and mentees grow as people and as leaders at Mizzou.
