Booking a flight

Columbia Regional Airport (COU) is located south of town. Lambert St. Louis Airport is a two-hour drive from the east, and Kansas City Airport is two and a half hours from the west. Rental car services are available at all three airports.

Parking for Advising

Parking for advising will be in a different location than your orientation session. You’ll receive personalized parking instructions for your advising appointment via email after you’ve scheduled your appointment.

Your parking location will depend on which in-person orientation session you attend.

Families must register their vehicle for a parking pass. Visit the link below to sign up.

December 9 session parking
  • Parking location: Virginia Avenue Parking Structure
  • Address: 901 Virginia Ave, Columbia, MO 65201
  • Instructions: Enter on level 2 from the Virginia Avenue entrance. Exit at the northwest corner on the street level (level 2)
January 10 session parking
  • Parking location: University Avenue Parking Structure
  • Address: 1101 University Ave, Columbia, MO 65201
  • Instructions: Do not park on level 4. All other levels are available for parking.

Orientation Check-In

Walk to the MU Student Center following the red dotted line on the map below. Enter the middle set of doors and go up the stairs to the first floor. Follow the Winter Welcome signs to find the Check-In Desk.
