Transfer Students

Depending on what time of year you complete your transfer, you’ll attend an orientation session specific to the transfer student experience.

  • If you plan to start classes in the fall, check out Transfer Summer Welcome online.
  • And if you’re planning to transfer to Mizzou for the spring semester, make sure you register for Winter Welcome.

Transfer Summer Welcome

Summer Welcome will take place online this year to keep you and your family safe.

If you registered for Summer Welcome before the change to the online format or have other questions read our FAQ.

While this year’s online format may be different from what you expected, don’t worry—you will still get everything you need to prepare for life at Mizzou!

You and your parent or guardian should plan to reserve a few hours on your scheduled day to participate in online modules and presentations together—with the exception of your advising appointment. The advising appointment is intended to be a one on one opportunity for you and your advisor to get to know each other better and enroll in an agreed upon course schedule.

You will be able to complete the activities at an alternative time if necessary, but the best experience will be to virtually attend Summer Welcome in the one-day schedule we’re planning for you.

View the full schedule here or by selecting “Transfer Summer Welcome Schedule” in the left navigation menu.
