Serving as a Summer Welcome Leader gives you the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, mentor incoming students, and share your Mizzou spirit, all while building new friendships that will last a lifetime.

How to apply

Prospective applicants must attend an informational session in order to receive an application. During the session, time commitment, expectations, and benefits will be discussed.

Summer Welcome Leader Info Sessions

Attend an info session to learn about serving as a SWL during Summer Welcome Orientation 2025. RSVP is not required, but you can sign up to attend through MU Engage and add the session to your calendar.

• Sunday, November 3 — 5 PM to 6 PM, Leadership Auditorium, MU Student Center
• Tuesday, November 5 — 7 PM to 8 PM, Tate 102
• Monday, November 18 — 5 PM to 6 PM, Tate 102
• Tuesday, December 3 — 6 PM to 7 PM, Zoom
• Wednesday, December 4 — 8 PM to 9 PM, Stickland 114

Application deadline is Friday, December 6 at 5 PM.
