My favorite Mizzou tradition:
My favorite Mizzou tradition has to be Tiger Walk! I learned about Tiger Walk during my Summer Welcome experience, and it made me so excited to come to college that August! Running through the columns with my roommate to signify the beginning of my Mizzou journey was an experience I will never forget! The “tiger stripe” ice cream we got at the event was also AMAZING!!
One of my favorite Mizzou memories:
Some of my favorite Mizzou memories are when I got painted for both the Boston College and Oklahoma football games! Even though we had to be at the football games super early, it was totally worth it when we were cheering for the tigers on the front row of the student section!! If you’re into sports (even just a little bit), I recommend getting painted! It is so much fun, and sometimes you even catch some tv time!!
What surprised you about Mizzou’s campus:
I was most surprised with how walkable the campus is!! I was worried about having long walks for some of my classes, but I have realized that it is way smaller than it seems!! While it is a large campus with lots of students, I almost never walk to class without seeing someone I know! This makes those longer walks go by so quickly! I was also surprised with the amount of people I have met on campus!! Forming relationships makes the large campus feel smaller!!
