My favorite spot on campus:

My favorite spot on campus has to be the quad, especially on a warm sunny day. Everyone goes walking with their friends or dogs, and the open grass makes the perfect picnic spot. Especially in the spring when the landscape is in full bloom.

What surprised you about Mizzou’s campus:

How small the community on campus is. Walking across campus is nothing short of a trek, but its super common to see someone you know or have classes with. 30,000 students on campus sounds very intimidating, but once you’re here, it seems so much smaller.

What advice do you have for incoming Mizzou students?

Network, network, network. Do not be afraid to talk to people and get your name out there. Networking can lead to study groups for class, internships for experience, or a mentorship with a professor. Everyone else is just as scared to greet the people next to them, be the one to make the first move!
