My favorite spot on campus:
Memorial Union. It is home to my favorite restaurant on campus, Wheatstone. Plus the castle-like architecture is always so seareal to be around. It sometimes reminds me of the fantasy books I read. Unfortunately, there are no marble halls to run through in a flowy ballgown. But a pretzel sandwich is the next best thing.
My favorite Mizzou tradition:
Summer Welcome honestly! It was the first time I met my roommate in person and got to understand the vibe of campus and its students. Summer Welcome was when I knew I would be okay moving away for college. It gave me hope that I would find a community of people I liked who would accept me for me.
What advice do you have for incoming Mizzou students?
Take this opportunity to set up good habits as you build a productive schedule. Work on your mental and physical health. Set yourself up for success by building your foundation now. Future you will thank you.
