My favorite Mizzou tradition:

My favorite tradition has to be Homecoming! The town comes together, and you can truly feel the Tiger pride all throughout Columbia. My favorite part of homecoming is either decorate the district and getting to paint the windows or the game. I am a HUGE football fan so you will be sure to see me sitting in the front row painted up cheering on our Tigers!

A song that describes my life:

Dancing Queen by ABBA! I love to dance, jump around, and have fun and I think this song perfectly captures that feeling. Also, I grew up loving Mama Mia, so I’ve been a “dancing queen” forever!

What advice do you have for incoming Mizzou students?

Put yourself out there. One thing I wish I would’ve done the fall semester of my freshman year was join more clubs. It can seem a little overwhelming right away but go to your dorm events, welcome week, get involved with your major, etc. I promise everyone is feeling the same nervous feelings and you are not alone! One thing that’s helped me a lot is the phrase, “do it scared”, push yourself, college is a time of self-discovery! Also, don’t be afraid to ask questions. College is all about learning and make sure you soak up as much information and life knowledge you can!
