If I could do anything with my life, I would…
If I could do anything with my life, I would move back to the Pacific Northwest, where I was born, and become a snowboarding instructor. I love spending time outdoors, whether hiking, paddleboarding, or snowboarding. Doing what I love every day while helping others discover their passion for the sport would be an incredible experience.
My favorite spot on campus:
My favorite spot on campus is the Marching Mizzou practice field. I have played the trumpet for nine years and have been in marching band for six years, so I feel completely at home in a band environment. Many of my closest friends at Mizzou are in band, making it a place where I am surrounded by people I love while doing what I love.
What advice do you have for incoming Mizzou students?
I recommend that all incoming Mizzou students join three clubs/organizations: one related to their major, one based on a hobby, and one that pushes them out of their comfort zone. College is all about self-discovery and trying new things. The best part about joining a club is that you are not locked in, and you can always explore new opportunities and find what truly interests you!
