What am I most excited about for Summer Welcome
I am most excited to make connections with my student groups! Coming to Mizzou, I was super nervous about meeting friends, so I want to be able to bridge that gap with my student groups to get them familiar with the other peers in their groups, and with me too. I strive to be like a “first friend” on campus for my student groups.
What advice do I have for incoming students:
I would tell incoming Mizzou students to be vulnerable. Although it may seem difficult at first, being vulnerable with friends truly deepens those connections. Not only will this deepen your friendships, talking about your feelings will also in turn make you feel better. When you come to Mizzou, you will have so many great friends and connections, but that can’t happen until you fully open up and be yourself!
