Why am I excited for Summer Welcome:

I am beyond excited to welcome the newest Tigers and their families to our beautiful campus and community. Columbia and Mizzou’s campus are both full of energy, opportunities, and so many places to explore. From the historic Columns to the lively student spots around town, there is always something happening that makes this campus feel alive. Mizzou has truly become my home, and I hope to help new students feel that same sense of belonging. I can’t wait to share my favorite spots, stories, and experiences to help them start their own journey here. Summer Welcome is the perfect chance to connect, guide, and inspire, and I can’t wait to see all the excitement on campus this summer!

My favorite Mizzou tradition:

My favorite Mizzou tradition would have to be the Homecoming season as a whole. Mizzou Homecoming is more than just a football game, it’s an entire week (honestly, season) full of school spirit, pride, and tradition. I love seeing student organizations and Greek life work so hard to come together, whether it’s for the largest blood drive, campus decorations, or preparing for the parade before the big game. With alumni back in town, friends all celebrating together, and black and gold everywhere you look, it really shows how strong the Mizzou community is. It always reminds me why I chose Mizzou and makes me so proud to be a Tiger.
